S/V Saoirse is a classic Valiant 40 offshore cruising sailboat designed by renowned naval architect Bob Perry and now available for sale at Fishermen’s Terminal in Seattle, Washington. Hull #250, she was the first Valiant 40 built without the fire-retardant resin associated with blister problems in earlier models. Built in Bellingham, Washington, for Rich Worstell’s personal use, she represents an important part of the Valiant 40’s history.
